Bittescombe Lodge
Situated in the heart of the West Country, surrounded by nature and tranquillity, this property is the epitome of secluded luxury. All ten en-suite bedrooms are architecturally unique, each with unmistakable charm and opulent furnishings. A myriad of elegant living areas offers private nooks to curl up with a book, outdoor spaces with open fireplaces, as well as a spacious entertainment lounge with a fully stocked bar, wine cellar, along with a snooker table and surround sound entertainment. The lodge sits within 400- acres of parkland valleys. The culinary and sporting experiences on offer are inspired by the undulating valleys and the property’s very own deer park.

First Day
Guests are welcome to arrive from 4:30pm onwards at the lodge, to settle in and make full use of the facilities.
Drinks and canapes, which are all curated in house by the Michelin star chef are served on the terrace with guests then being seated for dinner in the dinning room.
Second day
A gentler start to that of a normal shoot day, guests are encouraged to enjoy a swim or game of padel tennis before joining their fellow guests for breakfast.
After a safety briefing in the lodge, guests will depart for the first of four drives.
After the second drive guns and guests will enjoy outstanding elevenses and a selection of drinks overlooking the beautiful Somerset countryside. Weather depending, lunch can be enjoyed outside on the ‘Game of Thrones’
To finish the day guests will enjoy tea and cake back in the comforts of the lodge to unwind and relax

Situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, the estate offers a taste of true British countryside. The lodge is just a short drive from the country-town of Taunton (16miles), which offers a train service to London Paddington in under two-hours.
The property’s expansive estate is a true destination in itself, the area is also known for beautiful rolling hills and rural landscapes. Beautiful coastal towns such as Lynmouth and Porlock can also be reached in under an hour.
